How the Trust Score is Calculated
The Campaign Registry assigns every brand a Trust Score from 0 to 100. This score reflects the likelihood that your brand is legitimate and safe. It is calculated based on three primary factors:
Identity Match
Does your EIN, Legal Name, and Address match third-party databases (like Dun & Bradstreet)?
Brand History
Age of your business entity and history of previous spam complaints or blocks.
Vetting Status
Whether you have paid for "Secondary Vetting" (a manual audit) or relied on the automated check.
Throughput Limits by Carrier
Your Trust Score directly dictates your daily sending limits. T-Mobile enforces daily caps, while AT&T uses throughput tiers (TPM).
T-Mobile Daily Brand Caps
| Trust Score | Messages / Day | Status |
|---|---|---|
| 0 - 24 | 2,000 | Low Trust (Unvetted) |
| 25 - 49 | 10,000 | Medium Trust |
| 50 - 74 | 40,000 | High Trust |
| 75 - 100 | 200,000+ | Top Tier |
How to Increase Your Score
Stuck with a low score? Follow this protocol to level up.
-
1
Verify Data Accuracy
Ensure your Brand registration matches your IRS SS-4 letter exactly. No abbreviations. No typos.
-
2
Apply for Secondary Vetting
Pay the ~$40 fee for external vetting. This manual audit typically boosts scores significantly for legitimate businesses.
-
3
Request Special Review
For enterprise needs, file a Special Business Review (SBR) request with carriers (additional fees apply).
